Prime minister Hubert Minnis Administration should be congratulated for giving the public service their money that has a trickle down effect on the bahamian economy in these times. I would like to extend my appreciation to the the cabinet of the Bahamas and wish all their family a merry Christmas and a happy new year. This article is to explain who is hubert minnis and why he will win a second term.

In the Spring of 2006 the publishers of the Oxford English Dictionary presented a list of the most commonly used words in the English language and the Number 1 noun was TIME.
It is perhaps not so surprising then to find that TIME is the most used noun in the English language, and its importance and relevance to every experience we encounter in life.
Biblical scholars like Robert Liardon, believe that the significance of the biblical concept of time is unmistakably the way it uniformly presents God at work in guiding the course of history according to his saving plan.
If this is so, then it is conceivable that the events of May 10th 2017 were a part of some divine influence initiated in the heavenly realm. If we subscribe to this belief, then it is safe to say that Hubert Alexander was divinely appointed.
For those of us who read the bible, you would recall the story of Queen Esther where in verse 13 it reads, “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this”.
When Perry Gladstone Christie asked the Bahamian people for more time, time to do what he and his band of recalcitrant ministers failed to do in the first five years, no matter what crafty, underhanded tactics the PLP used, the answer was still going to be a definitive NO! Why, you may ask? Because Dr. Hubert Minnis was born for such a time as this and when God is for you, who could be against you? Loretta Butler and the dissident seven should have studied their bibles harder, then they would not have wasted their energies trying to overthrow, what God was building, a man after his own heart in the person of Hubert Alexander Minnis.
The name Hubert, during the eighteenth century was regaled as the patron saint of hunters, however the deeper meaning of this Germanic name means “bright heart”. Alexander on the other hand, with its origins rooted in the Greek language means, “defender and protector of man”. The name Minnis simply means, “son of love”. The most significant factor in this name game, is that the Minnis’ family motto in Latin says, “Animo non astutio”, meaning “by courage and not by craft”.
The latest point says to all of us that our Prime Minister is obviously cut from the cloth of protection and love for his people and like Moses he has taken us out of bondage from our captors the PLP Pharoahs and he won the race honestly and not by underhanded means. A true statesman.
Dr Minnis’ job now is to take the people and the Bahamas to the promised land of employment opportunities for our youth, reduction in the national debt and growth of our economy. I am ,very proud national help the Government is doing in Abaco after the hurricane .
One way to improve economic growth is through a paradigm shift away from tourism. In this instance the old adage holds true that we should, “never put all of our eggs in one basket”. Just like the slogan for the FNM, It’s the peoples’ time, the new mantra for Dr. Minnis should now be, DIVERSIFICATION, as the true meaning of the number four is diversity.
Dr. Minnis must work with his team of economists to build an economic zone, but to do this he must empower others who have the skills and capacity to get the job done.
This zone must be developed in the over the hill areas such as Bain and Grants Towns. For this effort to be successful, it cannot be the same families such as the Moskos, Kellys and Symonettes opening businesses and employing labourers as usual. He must provide the financial support through venture capitalists to fund young entrepreneurs to help create wealth for the people; change the focus to IT and software development, facilitate reductions in the cost of electricity to support economic growth.
This is the true purpose of an economic zone. In the words of Adam Smith, “No country can surely be flourishing and happy, of which the far greater part of the members are poor and miserable”.
Another symbolic fact we must consider is the significance of the number four in this recent general election. Hubert Minnis is the fourth Prime Minister of The Bahamas elected barely two months shy of the Bahamas’ forty-fourth birthday.
He was also born in 1954 and is the fourth child of his father Minnis. The number four derives its meaning from creation. On the fourth day of what is called “creation week” God completed the material universe. On this day he brought into existence the sun, the moon and all of the stars.
Their purpose was not only to give off light, but also to divide the day from the night, therefore becoming the basic demarcation of time!
In keeping with our continued analysis of TIME, it is plain for those who have eyes to see that the number four also symbolizes God’s setting all things in order.
All of the things we see around us, the four elements of the universe, namely earth, fire, air and water; the four regions of mother earth, north, south, east and west; the four divisions of the day which are morning, evening, noon and midnight; four seasons, spring, summer, winter and autumn; four represents the variations of the lunar phases, new moon, half moon, and full moon Quarter Moon.
In the Garden of Eden there were four rivers, Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates and their names in exact order given mean, “increase”, “bursting forth”, “rapid”, and “fruitfulness”.
There are four gospels in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and four cherubim guarding the Tree of Life. Dr minnis cannot go wrong if he follows the path that was set for him? Elevation requires separation and Dr. Minnis needed to be separated from those who did not believe in him and where God was taking him.
What does this all mean you might say? I will let you decide for yourselves. I am not a church going man but a very spiritual man, but from time to time I do spend hours reading my Bible.
In previous articles I would have stated that the people won the election for Dr. Minnis, now I am of a different perspective following deep research and truly believe in my heart of hearts that he was chosen by the Almighty God to lead us at this TIME! God will give prime minister a second win big time,in 2021. .
Therefore, to all you naysayers, and Benedict Arnolds, don’t waste your time plotting and planning the demise of the Prime Minister, for he was chosen for such a time as this, and will reach his exodus, all in God’s Time.
For those of you who may not know, the Chinese despise the number four, as a matter of fact most Asians cultures share significant cultural and historical ideology and hence numbers and objects which are symbolic of death and suffering are typically regarded as unlucky. Because of this tetraphobia of the number four you will not see a fourth floor in an elevator or a hospital room that ends with four and in extreme cases, residential buildings in Hong Kong have no fourth floor.
So for those of us who understand this phobia of the Chinese, we know that this will definitely impact Chinese/Bahamian relations. We will just have to wait and see how this all unfolds .Do worry about US regarding China they’re equally make billion of dollars from China. .
My final comment to our Prime Minister comes from one of the greatest economic minds that ever lived, Adam Smith, who resolutely believed that, “ The people are the supreme judge of how governments fulfill their mission because it is the person who gave them power and who can as such, the ability to revoke.
Be encouraged my brother!! “u will win in 2021”
